Demo 1 Day Seminar – GDPR Workshop

HolidayA half-day seminar featuring a GDPR workshop delivered by the authors of our GDPR guidance for climbing walls. The event will be held at HarroWall in North London.

Following our Call for Funding we commissioned a law firm to produce a climbing-wall-specific handbook on the changes to General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) that will come in to force on the 25th of May 2018. If you’ve yet to hear about GDPR you can find out a little more from our news article – Should you be worried about GDPR? and also from the Information Commissioner’s Office.

The workshop is primarily aimed at businesses who have a copy of the handbook, have begun implementing the changes required and will likely have some specific questions in mind to clarify and focus their efforts.

HarroWall will be opening their cafe for food and drink as well as offering free climbing to attendees on the day.

MEMBER TICKET – SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY. AVAILABLE TO BOOK 17:00 22/03/18.

For members who have not contributed to the Call for Funding. As well as a ticket to the event you will receive a copy of the climbing wall specific handbook following your payment for your ticket.

NON-MEMBER TICKET – SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY. AVAILABLE TO BOOK FROM 17:00 29/03/18.

For walls that do not have an active membership of the Association of British Climbing Walls.
