The Association of British Climbing Walls
The Association of British Climbing Walls (ABC) was established in 1994 to promote safe management practices in climbing walls. Over the past 20 years, the Association has developed into what it does today:
the Association of British Climbing Walls promotes the professionalism, health and growth of indoor climbing.
Being a member of the ABC allows us great access to other wall owners and managers so we’re able to network with our peersRich Emerson – The Climbing Academy
Association of British Climbing Walls
The Association of British Climbing Walls represents 70% of the large and medium climbing and bouldering walls in the UK.
Joining the ABC is the best way to ensure that your wall meets climbing wall industry best practice guidelines. ABC members get access to guidance, reports and in-depth analysis of the issues affecting our industry. There are also seminars, newsletters and a members forum to help you stay in touch with what’s going on in the world of indoor climbing.
Membership is open to all climbing walls that are able to commit to some simple safe operational procedures.
