We’re now in the second year of our ABC Training Events. Last year we ran a 1 day event in March, repeating it in November and the 2 day Conference and AGM in September at Plas y Brenin. The feedback has been really good so this year we’ve decided to go with the same format. The only change is that instead of London and the North West for our 1 day conference, we’re going to go with Yorkshire and the South West.
The final date for the 2 Day Conference is yet to be finalised but it’s going to be around the same time of year and will be at Plas y Brenin again. We’ll let you know the date early in April.
The first event is our 1 day Conference which is on 22 April and will take place at the Harrogate Climbing Centre. This event is suitable for wall owners and managers and for Duty Managers and Senior Instructors.
There are two sessions to choose from in the morning and two further ones in the afternoon. In addition, we’ll have a session with Kelvyn James, ABC Development Officer on progress and activities in the Association and an opportunity for open discussion.
Attending the conference costs £40 per person and includes coffee and lunch. The conference will start at 10.00 (coffee available from 9.30) and will finish around 4.15.
At this stage we’d ask each wall to limit attendance to 2 people but we’ll open it up further if there is capacity.
