Developing the Next Generation: Is It Time for a National Career Pathway for Indoor Climbing?

Join an interactive discussion on the future of workforce skills development in indoor climbing. We’ll hear from those who have explored apprenticeship schemes and other training pathways, identify common challenges, and assess the appetite for a nationally recognised framework supported by the ABC. We’ll also consider whether a dedicated apprenticeship could form part of a future industry pathway.

Working together: Technical Advisors & Walls

An interactive session exploring how TAs and walls can work together for better outcomes. We will look at supporting walls through an incident and where the TA fits in: how they can be represented as an expert witness and how they can best work with walls to provide good documented support. We will also discuss safety checks undertaken by TAs and  the benefit of working to agreed standards.
