RSD – Commercial Boulder Setter – Training

This is a one-day in-person training for commercial boulder setters.

This course will give setters a better understanding of commercial requirements for a boulder setter, including work volume, team dynamics and quality especially within the grade range F3 – F6B.

In order to attend this course you need to have first completed RSD Route Setting Basics, you can do this online here, and RSD Setting in Practice or obtained exemption for experienced setters

After completing this course candidates now need to complete a separate one day assessment. Upon successfully completing the assessment the candidate will be issued with the RSD Commercial Boulder Setter certificate. This certificate is valid for three years.
