RSD – Commercial Boulder Setter Training

Course details: This is an in-person one day training which includes commercial requirements for a boulder setter, including work volume, team dynamics and quality especially within the grade range F3 – F6B
PRE-REQUISITES: Prior to attending this course, you MUST:
1) Be an RSD member
2) Have completed either the half-day online Impact Setting Route Setting Essentials course (this can be booked here ;using the code LEARN2SET will give you a 20% Arrampica discount) OR a one day in-person Route Setting Basics training (or have exemption)
3) Have completed a Boulder 2 Setting In Practice training and assessment (or have exemption)
4) Have a minimum of 20 logged quality boulder setting days
REVALIDATION: Not required if Commercial Boulder Setter Assessment is passed
PROGRESSION: Log an additional 10 quality boulder setting days before progressing to Commercial Boulder Setter Assessment
