ABC Accreditation expands into Scotland

Accreditation Scheme Rolls Out in Scotland thanks to our Sponsor Redpoint HQ

Since its launch in 2025, ABC Accreditation has been awarded to climbing walls that meet high standards for safety and professionalism. Our first cohort of Accredited walls have demonstrated their commitment to maintaining high standards in the industry and running well-maintained, well-managed facilities in which customers can have confidence.

Launched with support from the BMC and Sport England funding, the programme was initially rolled out in England and Wales. Now with support from our Principal Sponsors Redpoint HQ, we are delighted to be able to expand the programme to Scotland, recognising the excellent standards at Scottish walls.

The rollout has the support of Mountaineering Scotland and we look forward to visiting and accrediting climbing walls across Scotland.
